Spiraled Thoughts By Dylan Patrello Twist and turn and fill the air, with the blossom in your hair, Wipe our feet with golden rods, Tickle our fingers, Turn the deaf into singers, steal the clouds and make ice cream, Give the thoughtless creative dreams, Soar the orange birds over the blue moon, Make the tiny and friends with the raccoon, Tell the door, the fish, and the drawer, they’re not worth it anymore, Tell the spoon on the dish they only get one wish, Tell the skirt to fit the hip, Make the shoes make him trip, Bend your fingernail back and paint it green, Don’t drive till you’re nineteen, Eat the silver nut on the bleeding cut, Smother dirt on your face, Walk at a cheetah’s pace, Cover your elbow in salt, then dip it in chocolate malt, Take a bee and hold its hand and show him through the hot dog stand, So fill your soul with spiraled thoughts, And empty your mind of lines and dots.
Reason for writing:
the reason i wrote this poem, is to inspire people to think in unique ways, and to fill your words and thoughts with "Spriraled Thoughts" in other words crazy silly unique thoughts, instead of always thinking of common "Lines and Dots" if ya know what i mean : )
