Our friendship is sugar coated If I look deep enough, Past the false commitments, I see how wrong this is. Once you get past the sweet layers, You'll find the hatred and jealousy, I always thought that friends were forever, but you proved me wrong. You're always in my face, You always have been, But I just don't have the courage to admit it. Like a rose, our friendship has slowly withered, you don't know me, so don't say you do... Oh, how I loathe you.
Reason for writing:
the realisation that people aren't always what they may seem...no matter how sweet the layer.
