passover

by marvin d goldfarb - Aquarius

we left egypt for the promised land forty years on the dessert sand god parted the red sea we crossed over to be free so now lets pass over the matzoh and the wine so now lets sing and read and be fine now for the skewers of lamb or the pot roast lift your wine glasses and make a toast sing hagadyor and await next year for some more roast and good cheer

Reason for writing:

one person wrote a poem about her irish back ground which encouraged me to write something about both my jewish back grounds in the passover ceremony
