An angel with silver wings, golden hair and eyes as green as the flowers that bloom in the spring Came to me last night in my sleep Dressed in a white velvet robe and no shoes upon her feet She touched me gently making all the pain disappear A warmth swept over me and I desperatly wanted her to stay one kiss on the cheek and all my worries swept away She held my hand and said listen my child these are the words I must speak In your prayers last night you asked to die in your sleep But I am displeased Eighteen years I have been by your side watching your every move and lending you a guide My body tingled and a feeling of peace ran thru my weaken body Angel tell me about heaven please tell me about the children’s laughter, and about the blind man who was able to see again or how an ill person like myself can be come well. Her eyes twinkled and of wondersous stories she began to tell She told me of the endless deep blue seas, and white doves that flew freely in the heavens. Of swans, castles, oceans with white sandy beaches and rain forests with many trees. She spoke of a lion roaming freely among the innocent children that played in the streets of solid gold I couldn’t believe of the tales she told of a land with so much beauty. I asked if she would take me there She said close your eyes my dear sweet child and dream away picture an ocean with a cool breeze watch the dolphins and the sharks swim along side each other in the water She said on land we will be able to roam the streets at night unafraid of danger you will love everyone you meet for they all will be your family and no longer strangers. you will see rainbows with such color that will leave you in aww. So I closed my eyes and this is what I saw. I drifted away into sleep and saw a miraculous land A place where money is not needed Food is of plenty and disease is no longer. The only race is mankind unconditional love is a gift that can’t be returned pain and frustration is not heard of I saw this place in my dream Grass so green, rolling hills and a white horse roaming freely A baby smiling and an old man humming children playing in the street , and lovers that stayed that way The sky was so blue, I desperately wanted to go there where everyone is excepted for who they are a place just beyone the moon and stars a place where beauty is found within Dreams come true and hearts are never broken I opened my eyes and squeezed the angel’s hand I asked her if I could go to such a land She looked at me and smiled sweetly My dear child you are still needed on this land greatly until then close your eyes and dream, I will always be in your heart I am a part of you when it is your time to go deep down you will always know that I will travel down to earth and together we will travel hand and hand up to that beautiful land that only God could create until then you must stay here and teach everyone how to love and not hate
