Eating mistletoe

by Nicole M. - Gemini

Tempted by the luscious greens
I licked the edges greedily
To get the taste
Of the pleasure that it brings.
Rolled a berry with my tongue
And let it slide
Again I teased at it's hidden pleasures
Now the entire thing
I did receive hastily.
No longer able to resist
I took a nibble from the tip
With the sweetest bitter taste
I spread the tidbit eagerly
And began to salivate
At the thought of a sin
increasing the joy of it
ten fold.
Once again
My teeth were tearing
at the fragile skin
my eyes were closing
Surrendering
To evil ecstacy.

Reason for writing:

There are few poems of mine that I will come right out and say I think are good, and this is one of them. Maybe it's bc I think it could have so many differenct meanings :)
