Her pale face with a tint of tan never missed a chance to give a nice gesture. Her shining brown eyes never missed to see the good in people. Her tongue never let a person leave without a compliment. Her smile would lift the gloomiest of all spirits. She had her moments, but she always seemed cheerful and happy. I only wish I were more like her.
Reason for writing:
When I was eight my sister (Julie) was in a car accident and did not make it. It has be almost four years now and I have recently started writing poetry. A couple days ago, when I was thinking about her I wrote this. At first I was not going to show it to anyone but everyone that read it said it is my best so far. So here it is.
