With all the tricks that fate does play I used to think I know them all But then I don't look for merely seconds To see that I am tricked again As favors are returned Something without a value Might buy more than money ever could And as if to emphasize this fact The spotlight kid repeats again That to afford a thing is not the same As really to deserve it I don't know if you understand 'Cause I can't anymore But as words only bear the meaning That humans give to them Is there a reason why I shouldn't do the same And mimic just a trick of one That's measuring this thread of mineBirth sign: Capricorn
