To be humble, when you believe you're really Godly Is just a mask you've made And it'll end up just melting with your face Making you come across As a cocky self-righteous twit Who thinks they're doing me a favor So be what you'll be Pompus, arrogant, self-proclaiming be something you're not And something much worse gets mixed in with that Ignorance Of the fact that I still know what you feel about yourself And you think you can hide it from me Be yourself I won't adore the ground you walk upon And probably won't like you But atleast I won't have comtempt for you For trying to hide you from me.
Reason for writing:
This poem is kind of towards me, but mainly it's towards people that are so humble they're irritating.
