Don't despair my dear child for this to shall pass you by, Hard times may enter your life, often leaving you to question why. But hold your head up high and wipe away your tears, For I will be there always, to calm your deepest fears. I will enfold you warm in my arms and wash your pain away, The darkness will pass through while in my arms you'll lay. You will no longer have to cry alone at night, Just tell me all your woes and I'll take away all your fright. I will appear by your side whenever you need me, I will bring light back into your life, I will again help you to see.
Reason for writing:
I had a dream where I was in a very dark and frightening place then my "gardian angel"(hence the name of the poem) came and everything was lit up with a very bright light. In the dream I felt really safe with her and thats where I got the idea to write a poem about it.
