turn away

by Antwan Fields - Aries

somewhere in the mountains
a wolf is in his home
where this wolf goes
and where this wolf will roam
oh, here he is
howling at the moon
he will be found
by his lover soon
and how do you think
that this wolf came to be
it may sound stupid
this wolf is me
and here i am
on this dark and stormy day
here i go
turn away
the love and the hate will fight
the glove used in the duel
and what i have to understand
is that i am now a fool
and young and restless and furious and strong
i flee through the wood
i didn't take you with me
as i probably should
here i am
my reluctance in me it will lay
and when will you...
turn away?
don't think that i failed to care
as i flee through the air
and i would get upset
but at least i was there
the dagger sliding into me
the pain getting worse
the amount of times that you and i
satisfied our thirst
the long and the short of it
is that you will be right
and i'll be wrong, but i already know
i'll die tonight
here i am
running at you again
the dart into my neck
and only then
here i am
as i fall again
i scream to you to run and i say
you turn away
here i go...
here i go.
turn away.
here i go.
awayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.
