I would never allow the cumulus of my inchoate feelings shored into an image or a symbol. I would rather permit them a free fall into the slimy slush of the earth, the rough texture of the winds, the color of seasons and the toughness of the mountains than sulk as feeling fossils, a mere rustle of unpromising words.
