Dead

by Kevin - Leo

Water alive, ever changing with time
Warm stalwart delivering its wrath
Bitter season dying in its adversary’s wake
Water longing for its time to rise.
Eyes blocked by what has been pulled over
Mind besieged by darkest human rituals
Body wasted by the unfailing pull and push
Nose burnt by flames of darkest drivel
Mouth corrupted by the tang of your own fester
Ears broke by loathing and wretchedness
Heart obliterated by cold stillness
Soul vanquished, Dead first dawn
New day hails your attention, renewed hope
Quick diminishing of joy, quick strife
The darkness inside, pilfers you life
Alive outside but unfeeling and dead inside
Everyday you play your part not feeling the day
Further into darkness, trying to find light
The seagull cries, finding elevation
A watcher from above, never knowing the light
A piece of ice breaks off and goes afloat
Adrift in itself, it knows only the motions
Feckless days, indefatigable and consistent
Ice lost in a world reflected of itself
A day paid, questions asked, thought provoked
A lifetime spent looking for answers
A day bought, seeking light in all
A lifetime lost, confused and sore
A day borrowed, going through the motions
Your life gone, lost all in futile being
Time kept slipping away, bashing your existents
Your day of reckoning is here
Ice melted, only dead in its early form
Your life before your eyes, a new coming storm
Water alive, basking in its alteration
A new day of life
A new day of time
A new day of hate
A new day of pain
A new day of sorrow
A new day of lies

The reaper passes for its filch
Blindly you go on, forge ahead
A piece of you alive, a piece of you dead.

Reason for writing:

Many things inspire me to write. I write everyday to express emotions in relation to exact emotions, events, etc.
Anything I can feel, anything that causes emotions in me, I poem them.
