That night engraved itself in the back of my mind
myself I could not seem to find
I was so tired of being alone
I only wanted someone to hold
You were there and you listen
to what I had to say
I wanted to leave but I needed to stay
you belonged to someone else
but I didn’t care’
tonight you heart you could share
with me and pretended that I was the one that you loved
I ignored my conscious and our two bodies became one
