She loves being in the spotlight shiny hair and sparkling eyes sweet as an angel craving attention from strangers I watch the glitter girl and wish that I was her she has self confidence and respect and admiration from all that she meets her face graces the cover of ever magazine she shines and we bow down to her feet I watch the glitter girl and wish that I was her getting what her heart desires a life in the spot light hanging with the other stars in a world of their own just like her we all want to be although deep down inside she’s just a regular girl like you and me I watch the glitter girl and wish that I was her there are things that I she doesn’t let us see the glitter girl just wants a normal life like me the parties and the clubs get old she just wants to chill out on her own a little Me time is all she needs’ but she can’t let down her fans so she will smile on the outside though she is lonely and sad on the inside and be glad that people still want her around cause when they stop caring her career will drown then where will she be a has been that's what they will say she pretends to love her life and job but at night she prays silently to God That this glitter girl that shines on TV could be normal just like you and me
