Hurting Myself Never Felt So Bad

by Heather Williams - Libra

I took the razor blade home from work
I wasn't used to something so sharp
It's been so long...
So now I've screwed everything up
The blood still trickled down my arm
This morning...Eight hours later
All through school...
Another seven hours
The blood was nearly stopped
But it was still there
The physical pain was too much to handle
The mental pain distracts me from life...
I fell do the floor and the tears still linger
Upon my face and in my eyes
It was never like this before
It didn't get to me before
It was never so damn bad
