Going After You

by Heather Williams - Libra

I had a dream...
I knew this would happen
I remember sitting on your lap
Feeding you cheese cubes
And laughing about everything
It was supposed to be sophisticated
But it was playful flirting
Last week in the fire drill
When everybody thought it was spring
But the wind blew in winter
You walked around with your hands
In my backpack
You call me blondie and for this reason
I do not dye my hair red anymore
You told me not to go after that other boy
And I realize now it should have been you
That I should have gone after

Reason for writing:

Ugh....I hate when people are right...especially guys and even more so when I have feelings for him...
