Would you understand You swear on anything That you would But me I'm doubtful You say you'd understand it all But let me ask you this Would you... Would you understand it If I shoved it in an analogy Said I was the river And it was the storm Or the rock thrown into me Your tears say that But they're not the same tears That I've cried. Would you understand it If I explained it in this poem Hide it In between these lines Like a scavenger hunt And you lose when you win You'd get lost Before you understud Would you not? Maybe I'll just leave it uncooked Raw for you, lying on the table No sugar no coating No metaphors How about this...
