Why won't your memory Let me be? Why won't it let Me live in peace? I've tried to move on, But every corner that I come to, There you are. The more I try to run away, The faster you go to catch up. People always tell me how you're doing, No matter how often I tell them I don't care how you are. It's impossible to get through a day Without hearing your name. I try to forget you, But no one will let me.
Reason for writing:
I wrote this back in January of 2001. BJ and I have a lot of mutual friends, and people assumed that I wanted to know who he was with, what he was doing, etc. Memories of the things he's done to me always pop into my mind. I wish I could just forget that he was ever in my life.
