It's dark outside Angels fly by me I can feel their wings brush up against me They put a kiss on my cheek Like a gentle feather And they hold my hand securely I have no reason to be afraid I am safe With my guardian angel by my side Hand in hand But I ask Who is this guardian angel of mine He's by my side Protecting me and loving me He's telling me that I have no reason to fear Because he's my guardian angel Forever by my side.
Reason for writing:
Ever since I was a little girl, I have believed in angels, heaven, God and spirits. I was sleeping and I had been snoring, so my baby sitter took away my pillow and I had to sleep on the cold wooden floor. I saw a picture of Jesus with his lamb, and he was herding them. I woke up in the middle of the night, and there he was. He had his hand on my shoulder, smiling. I knew that he loved me and that he was watching out for me.
