My Waves

by silverwaters - Cancer

I stand on the shores of a sandy beach
Trying to hold back what I feel inside
Watching the waves crashing against the rocks
The clouds are gray and cold
Tears begin to run down my face
Trying to get rid of memorys that I hate
Memorys that try to destroy me
Tair me down and haunt me
I can't let it happen no more
Like the waves against the rocks
My memory's crash against my mind
I'm setting them free
Letting them fly
They cannot harm me no more
For I have abandond them
The waves have gone camb
And the sun is shining
I smile as I remember...
... I have you

Reason for writing:

Alot of things happened to me in the past that hurt me very much but my boyfriend helped me overcome them and I am very greatful to him. I can live my life and not look back on them where as before I thought that there was no tomorrow. I love hime very much, thankyou.
