A wrongly accused man serving a life sentence cried out to the Lord last night He said Lord of all you know that I am innocent yet its not fair here I am behind these unforgivable bars It was the man who stole my car he is the one that killed her maybe I shouldn’t have left my keys in the ignition maybe if I had better intuition I could have prevented this from happening she was so beautiful and she had such a short life please Lord tell the victim that I didn’t mean to kill his wife and tell her children that Im sorry that they have to grow up without a mommy The Lord took him by his trembling hand He said my dear child you are an innocent man I have forgiven you for you have not done wrong you must learn to forgive yourself it’s not your fault you could have not known that your car would be stolen and driven by a drunken teenager that took the life of a young woman with a very bright future my son you must learn to let go and to realize that you are not responsible remove these bars that you have buried yourself in and come out all is forgiven
