Aspirations My goal in life is to do better. "Better than what?" you say. To always do better than I did yesterday. An impossible aspiration. It can never be sustained. To always do better will drive you insane. You will continuously be thinking And forever toiling on tasks. To always do better, it can never last. If to constantly do better Is your ultimate goal. Your life will surely suffer, simple living you'll forego. To do better today Than all of your past Since tomorrow always comes, your better won't last. Diana Headley, April, 2001Birth sign: Scorpio
