""Stop The School Shootings""

by Brian Malloy Jr. - Cancer

looking for love,
but it's still so far away,
i'd like a world of change,
throughout every school day,
i see the faces of some,
as the time goes by,
they say, what's this world become, as we sit and cry,
desperate needs and endless looks,
all they seem to do is throw them the book,
to see the change we half to become one,
insted of seeing the deaths of our loved ones,
this world hasn't been looked in the face,
for all has been done by unkind grace,
life is so hard these days,
life is so hard so we pray,
life is so hard these days,
cause life is so hard we pray,
no one seems to notice,
much less even care,
the deaths of so many,
is just too much to bare,
life is hard with these black hearted fools,
what the hells happened to our safety in schools,
i can't sit back and watch it all go down,
cause before i know it, it'll be in my home town,
love is what makes up this poem,
cause i cry for these people and i didn't even know them,
with one small chance of change i think we should take,
take some action before its too late.

Reason for writing:

this is dedicated to all the school shootings lately. it makes me sick to even think about what this planet has come to.
