Other Side

by FireFly - Libra

I’m dragged under-
The remorse-
The current pulls me-
Tugs my shirt-
Reminds me what’s up-
And our new scenes-
Has silenced us-

But it’s not my kind of day-
I’ve been where I’ve been-
Remorse and hindsight-
A mixed bag-
With so many strings attached-

This one goes out-
To the love given to the wrong ones-
Misplaced love-
With misspelled names-
We stood out, like sour thumbs-
All that it shows-
Is the place you and I-
Should have never gone-

The wheels continue to spin-
But I don’t look back-
I can’t afford that-
I’ve been where I’ve been-
Those footsteps are now on-
The other side-

And from here-
I can forget-
And from here-
I have begun-
