and there's the pain that shall hit in about thirty seconds it sears and there is more pain than i thought and i lie on my bed and watch the rain, it mirrors my face sliding on the patio outside my window and down my face so it shall be told that the memory of the end haunts me, it hurts me till the pain feels real, and i can remember when i used to chase you, up and down the stairs, and the laughter we had begins to fade, it hurts to even think of what we did, why i did it for you, and now you are gone, and the pain hits me like a gunshot and its almost like the bullet has lodged into me, and then, as i feel my heart tear, i look up and ask "what did you do to me?"
