Where I Was When I Found You

by Heather Williams - Libra

This is what it feels like
Sitting in my 1993 Silver Ford Taurus
Looking at you and just being amazed
That you're sitting here with me
Honking the horn at the stupid seagulls
Trying to hop up to my window
You lean over me
So close to my neck I can feel you breath
It sends shivers down my spine
It makes me shake just sitting here
With the very thought of it
I watched the cold waves splash
Upon one another with your laughter
Filling the air and filling my heart
With this pure delight
Wathching you smile and make fun of people
Saying the seagulls was like our boss
And above all it made it real
I didn't feel out of place
In one hour you bought me lunch
And stole my heart

Reason for writing:

This guy I have liked since December took me out to lunch and I had the best time just being with him. Nothing out of the ordinary...He asked me to prom when I dropped him off.
:) I couldn't be more happy!
