Silence Never a word said always quiet, almost dead you and me, we've lost our touch our spark, our flame we've lost too much far apart we both have grown and how the time by us has flown the bond between us has been broken and neither one of us has spoken of our thoughts or how we feel I wonder if our love was real? maybe it was just a fling? never meant for a diamond ring what are you thinking as you shed those tears? I would love to share with you my fears how about we talk it out? things could change i have no doubt becuase there is one thing i have learned my love for you will always burn and when we get mad our love gets questioned but i love you and it is my intention to be with you, there is a match no better you and me forever and ever and now i have shared with her my feelings as her eyes roll back toward the ceiling in one ear and out the other with one look my heart she smothers not a word, just a look her face is like an open book the pages have been worn and abused torn in places and sometimes used the look tells me what I already know that she has made up her mind to go so now she walks out of my life the one that was to be my wife alone and broken i hang my head very quiet, almost dead Silence
