No better time than now
To apologize for the things
I guess I've done wrong in my life.

I'm sorry....
For my past and what I cannot recallect.
For the walls that you knocked down
And the ones you still cannot get around.
For the absurdity of my poetry
Since you never understand it.
For you loving me
Because it can never be returned.
That I have judged you
When you were clearly wearing the black robe.
Not being the ideal figure
That you had pictured so many nights before.
For holding everything in
And never giving you the opportunity
To label me as weak.

And what I'm sorry for most of all
Is that I had you in my life.
