I belong in the ocean

by Annmarie - Aquarius

I belong in the ocean wild and free.
Leave me alone and let me be me.
My world is the ocean to SPLASH! and SWIM.
I do not want to do tricks for the CROWDS!
They clap and they clap and shout very LOUD!
I belong in the ocean where I was BORN!
You TRAIN! me and TRAIN! me till I get it right.
I learn very FAST!and very WELL!
I bring in the MONEY! that is what I do best.
Then time runs short when I am to OLD! to perform.
I get put back in the ocean where I was BORN!
To be WILD! and FREE!
But then is it too Late! for me.
To SERVIVE! IN THE OCEAN.
PLEASE HEAR MY CRY!
PLEASE HEAR MY PLEA!
Before you take me out of the SEA!
Do you know what I am?
I am a dolphin.
Let me be me.
I have been in the ocean
for as long as I can remember.
Before BC.
I have HELPED! the Sailors! in their SHIPS
in the sea.
The OCEAN! is where I was meant to be.
SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH!
As I am making my dash!
I am making my PLEA!
LEAVE ME BE!
TO SWIM IN THE OCEAN!
LET ME BE FREE AS I WAS MEANT TO BE!

Reason for writing:

The reason I have had an inspiration
for dolphins is because they have
given me an inner peace
that no man has ever given me.
And also I wrote this poem
to send a message
from all over tne world.
PLEASE! PLEASE! SPEASE!
let them stay free.
