God Emperor Prt. II

by FireFly - Libra

You say you want the world to stop-
Stop the ill fated of the diseased-
The murdered, the unjustly convicted-
How could I stop this-
I am but a regent in your hearts-
I will be the father for all-
But police for none-?
Do you judge me for this-?
I do protect you-
But I am not your free will-
The chance that is inherit-
Even in all my decisions-
Though I have my plan-
The Golden Path-
The lord too bathes in uncertainty-

Your weakness is human-
Your omnipotence is untrue-
To what great sacrifice do humans-
Owe you-
Why must we praise a weak and false god-
We have only the faults of your plan-
To what degree must we be thankful-
For the bitterness us humans possess-
Because of you

Be thankful for your limits!-
In the span you humans live-
You hoard the world's gifts-
Into showmanship of despotism-
Taking it all for granted-
That is a technique-
That either destroys the species-
Or breeds the enlightenment-
For change and salvation-
That is free will-
And that is your decision-
I will guide you-
But your worth is true-
When you undertake this Golden Path-
By your own accord-

You humans live only by your hatred and anger-
You can judge me, by the words I use-
You may subject me to-
remember" I am not a leader nor even a guide-
A god-
Gods need take no responsiblity for anything except genesis-
Gods accept everything and thus accept nothing-
Gods must be identifiable yet remain anonymous-
Gods do not need the spirit world-
My spirits dewll with in me, answerable to my slightest summons"-
Yes, I am fallable-
But for my design-
I'm selfish-
But yield everything to you-

God are you not perfect?-
God is the perfect being!-

I would hope so-
But give a thousand years or so-
One mistake is not so bad-
