Logging on relieved the boredom when I couldn’t sleep at night, I held no expectations I just surfed around the sites, I found you in a chatroom along with other friends, Then I kept on logging on so I could be with you again, Pretty soon we felt like spending precious time alone, Made ourselves a private room and went there on our own, When you went away last year it was only for a week, But each day seemed everlasting and at night I couldn’t sleep, The time apart confirmed for me what I already knew, Couldn’t wait for your return when I could tell you I loved you, You’re that someone special that you always hope you’ll find, And though I found you in a chatroom sending text across a line, No ones going to tell me that the love we share’s not real, For I know the time will come when I can show you how I feel, For now I treasure every moment until its time for us to sleep, Wish I could whisper in your ear and hold you close to me, When the morning sun shines in I awake with thoughts of you, The phone rings and you let me know you’re thinking of me too, You’re the reason for my smile and you brighten up each day, So I’ve written down my feelings and some things I had to say. I don’t ever want to lose this feeling, I love you Louise x x x

The inspiration for this poem is the most amazing girl I have ever known, I just wanted to let her know she means the world to me.
