How Stupid Was I/Don't Kill Yourself

by Heather Williams - Libra

The 13 year old that lived down the block
From my sister
Put a gun to his own head and pulled the trigger

Things I used to dream about...
Now realizing that life
Doesn't suck that much
If you look you can see the
Blue sky beyond the gray clouds
The rain falls from those gray clouds
The rain makes a rainbow...

From something so ugly
Can be something so absolutly beautiful
That it makes you *feel* as if it is heaven

Reason for writing:

My friend's little brother took his own life and I can't stop thinking about her or his parentes. There were many times that I planned/attempted to kill myself when I was that age. I am only 18 and my God, I can look back now and see how great the world is. I just wished people that are so sad and so lost can find some reason to live on.
