Frozen memories

by phillip bligh - Leo

gleaming,frozen,silent,still
purched upon wintery hill
was a frosted green leaved daffadil.

Our memmories seem too hold there place
in lines you wore upon your face
then we're gone without a trace
gone but not gone just replaced.

each new moments locked us in
stowed away in memmory bins
a million you's and me's within
pain, pleasure, frown and grin.

like the flower those momments stay
forever held within our gray
till our hearts bring them out to play
for a happy momment on a lonely day.

Reason for writing:

    I love memmories!
The ones that spontaniously errupt when i
least expect it, leaving me drowned in a haze of
emotions in the past at least for a few momments.
