The darkness parts, In the pitch-black night, There's something there, Just out of sight. A faint glow emmits, From an unknown source, Parting the darkness, With a steady force. What it is, Is still unknown, The faint glow's origin, Is still not shown. It grows stronger, As we grow weak, It becomes brighter, As circumstances get bleak. Its the one thing, the only thing, To push people on, If we take our eyes off of the glow, Then all is gone. Its the only thing, That can help us cope, This faint part in the darkness, of course, Is hope.
