They say our love is wrong It just shouldn’t be a modern day Romeo and Juliet That’s funny cause that’s not what I see They say we are much to different, not at all the same I’m just the fool and your runnin the game They say your only there for the sex one day you’ll be here and gone the next They say that I only want what you can give They never walked a day in our footsteps or the life we have to live They say we are much two different and people will only stare We won’t fit in anywhere they say that you will leave when your done with me I’m just in denial and they can’t wait to see what they said was right you left me alone in the middle of the night sitting on the floor crying in tears I just wasted two years on you How come you had to do what they said you would how am I suppose to face the people that said these things oh so true how could you make them right about you I thought you were different I thought we had something guess I was wrong it's fucked up that I was the last one to know what my people knew all along
