goddess of love

by mandykay - Leo

The moon drips with light within the black
Velvet sky, the stars twinkle like glitter
Never knowing why, two lovers walk among
Them letting off another twisting sigh, that takes
To the wind and begins to fly, up to the heavens
Where the angels cry.
They catch it in a net and send it back to earth,
Where the lovers stand in awe of a kisses birth, and
All along I am watching, waiting to see, what will
Become of kisses times three, will they pay their homage to me,
By letting their souls truly run free, or will they just let things be?
And in a moment or maybe two, they held each other close as the wind blew,
And in that time I knew, what they held was love so true.
They called my name and I sparked the fire, they felt the warmth and started
To perspire, their clothes came off with desire, and the music of love
Sang like a choir.
The clouds in the sky soon parted as soon as the two made love under the moon.
And when at last the sun had to rise, the look of heaven was in their eyes, and
The angels stopped their lamenting cries to gaze upon lovers with no more sighs.
And I take my rest, for tonight is another lovers test.
