I saw the look in your eyes you have been telling me nothing but lies In an open window you stood staring up at me I felt like juliet meeting Romeo on my balcony you said that you loved me but I knew that was a lie with my heart I saw what my eyes wouldn’t allow me to see So I told you we were through and I wanted to move on you said you were sorry and you were wrong I saw you with her walking down the street holding hands and eating at the place we use to meet I saw you touch her face and kiss her lips I wanted to run to run away but my legs wouldnt allow me to move I was forced to stay and let my heart be broken all over again the tears burned my eyes and with my heart I saw what my eyes wouldnt allow me to see how much you really did mean to me I wanted to say that my love was real but I knew you wouldn’t see how much you really mean to me later that night you stood outside my window and I looked down at you You said baby Im sorry and your the only one for me forgive me for what I done I’ll do anything to make things right you climbed the ladder up to me kissed my lips so soft and tenderly and I saw with my heart what my eyes wouldnt allow me to see
