Made with love it was given to me each little block a sight to see underneath the quilt I feel safe pieced together by love a quilt by an angel from heaven above memories sewn into the fabric each little piece told a story which Im so proud to own The quilt that rest on my bed brings joyous memories in my head a lady with a beautiful heart made this wonderful sight that I cant sleep without at night Every little color that I see reminds me so much of my grandmother kissed by an angel she was and how she will be dearly missed but I will always have this quilt that she made especially for me she would say ah mijah this gift is for you and when Im gone it will remind you of me just know there are special things that you can not see in this quilt that I made for thee every little stitch is the love that you give every little color is the twinkle in your eyes and layers are your smile I told you many stories with each piece of when I was a little girl in Mexico I know you will be sad whe I leave I know it will be hard to let go but remember in Heaven I will be singing a song and thinking of you grandma return to her maker one night I felt lonely and sad her sweet smell I missed I grabbed my quilt and I said grandma why did you have to leave me I miss you so much, your laugh and your smile I wrapped the quilt around myself and feel asleep on the couch that night I dreamed about her she was singing in heaven with the angels she smiled and said my love for you will remain my dear child I put all of me in the quilt that you see I pulled the quilt around me and I felt her prescense and I could sense that my grandmother was near when I held my quilt and pictured her there
Reason for writing:
my grandmother made a quilt for me two years before she died I have had it for almost five years now and I cant possible be without it
