The Lies you've told
in every word you spoke
all the promises made
everyone of those promises broke
dreams you spoke of
wishes to come true
all the love given
a future for me and you
those three words spoken day by day
set in my heart to forever stay
as one we once were
but two we are now meant to be
but forever i will love
the dream come true you at one time were to me
my heart now torn in two
forever it may last
what i thought once to be my future
has again become my past
i speak of you in many ways
ways both good and bad
the time i spent with you
were both happy and sad
at that point in time
i had everything ones heart could desire
the love of a man
and one to fuel my fire
but now my heart feels nothing but pain
and you are the one to blame
in my heart forever you will be
and maybe someday eachother we will see!

Reason for writing:
I wrote this poem about my ex fiance'..... the story seems to be typical these days, and like the poem says, promises were made and then those promises were broke.. Like almost every guy who has a desire, he promised me the world. A life full of love and happiness, and to never do me wrong.. I always thought in the back of my head that it was all too good to be true, he was everything I asked for in a guy... But after I opened my eyes and wanted to see the truth, it all wasn't what it seemed.. He was no longer my dream come true, he was the one who made me cry... well ok enough with the sap, here is the poem...
