"Tonight is another day" By: Jeremy Horsley He walks across the desert lands His feet with every step fall deep into the sand The wind current changes and unleashes a storm Yet he still walks, not even a word Till he reaches greens he walks Through traps, sands, and storms He runs across the field of green Ignoring everything His feet seem to never touch land The wild animals chase him Not one caught up They were way too slow He runs till he reaches blue He skids around the ocean blue Still a window casts him away The water flies in his trail As the wind of his feet push into it The fish fly through the air, flippers high As he passes them by He runs till he has her in sight His feet rest after his long travels Among the island of sand, green, and blue He opens a mouth full of wondrous tales To be silenced by his love with a kiss Now he must rest and I awake For tonight is another day
