Everytime I look away No one's there, that's okay I can make it on my own in this old cruel world As the story unfolds and the flag unfurls And askin' myself why I hate it so much To live on this earth, to feel, see, hear, 'n touch And its all so hard nowadays Livin' in a world with racists, makin' fun of faces Religion and gays What's the world comin' to I don't know I'm askin' myself could it be true Forget it, let's go Move on 'Til it's gone No one cares, no one shares The pain that I feel That's why I always say Ignore it and it'll go away Tomorrow's another day You gotta keep it real...
Reason for writing:
This poem mainly expresses how I feel sometimes living in this crazy world we call earth. I just thought it up in my head, and the words came to me.
