Angrily they haunted you Their words Their faces And everything in it But now you're safe Behind a wall Where nothing passes through Blinded by a neverlight Into no fairy's forest You escaped To guard a dream That in a mirror Is no more But what is gone Lives on at least In memories Lives on like a fragile shadow Pursued by the dark Caretaker of a cemetery With crumbled walls surrounded But it's not the "here-and-there" collision But just a picture of a promised land That guided by angelic vision Scares us from passing through Laughing and raging That tempest called "mind" Defying gravity and common sense This tyrant rules with all the justice That was delivered to him In a sugar-coated package With the ultimate precision We're all so proud of A simple lie for the ignorant So we were told and so we say They never knew what changed them And so we started to paint their lives And taught them how to build A wall where nothing passes through
