Don't even try To say I forgot you You know why I did it for them Not you Not her, not him You take all the credit like it was yours, not mine But you know it was a felony This cruelty, hate and jealousy It must be a crime Or my time Must have been wasted By someone else besides you To know that I tasted That first love Inside you And then to find out it's not real because To what it's become from what it was People hate, people lie to you, people decieve They do whatever they can just to make you believe But don't even try To say that you've ignored it I've seen you fall into the trap That love, I know you explored it Don't say that you didn't And don't play the game saying you were just kidding It's always the same I know it was fake, it was a lie All I want to know now is why But I guess I'll never believe your excuse So don't even try 'Cause it's no use
