Suicide is a big part of life that you can't get rid of, It happens to friends, family and the ones you love. Bestfriends, boyfriends, girlfriends, just to name a few, Are some of the people that this happens too. I think about losing my friend in this kind of way, I can't do much, except to say the things I need to say. You're not alone, so never think you are, You're special, you're awesome, you're a shining star! Whenever you need to talk, you know I'm always here, I'll dry your tears and chase away the fear. I can tell you how much I would miss you, And then tell you without you, I wouldn't get through. But I can't say 'don't do it', because the choice isn't mine, All I can say is that the pain will leave in time. Before you do anything, think about your friends and family and their pain, And then think about what you're doing and realize it's all insane.
Reason for writing:
My best friend, Jenna, wrote this poem for a friend, for me. I won't say that it stopped me for what I wanted to do, other things did. But just that fact that she cared was good enough for me, she's so totally awesome and the best kind of friend you could ever get! I hope the words in this poem help some of you people out there!
