Should I apologize
For mistakes made
That were destined by fate?
Or maybe for
Me having hope
And trusting souls?
Should I apologize
For hurt feelings
Dwelling deep inside of me?
For that split second
That turned into an enternity
Of apathy?
For being green
and having soft skin?
Should I apologize
For being inferior
In due time-
My fair share?
For letting a piece of my pride
Take a blow
From someone without a face?
Should I apologize
For God granting me time
To spend on this Earth?

On what exactly
I'm suppose to feel sorry for.
