Stranded

Stranded inside my head
   Surrounded by people
But none of them are close enough to count.
I look through my eyes
And everything is clouded over

Seperated by a few small drops of nothing
Here I stand
Stranded
On an overpopulated island.

Seperated by a sea of indifference
And swimming with misunderstanding-
I burned down a bridge
Which I regret
At times
But a relief
When I am enjoying the pain.

I'm stranded here
And so I shall stay
