Headed Down There

by E. Alonzo - Sagittarius

It's the spot down in the underlying valley
Where the roses are pink and fresh in dew
Plush and moist by the anxiety of morning
Where the deepest caresses and kisses lay
Here I can feel the velvet skin against my face
As the air of my own breath sends the garden in sway
And I catch the scent of the perfumed petals
Filtering to my mind and coating my smile.
Here, I can fold in my fingers
The silky, elegant blouse of the night
Bare the skin of the precious earth
And view from the horizon her magnificent look.
Here, I am the sun, with warmth at my fingertips
And heat throughout my body
Used to feed into her, light and heavy.

Reason for writing:

    Oh, the pleasure of pleasing....
