No matter what hand, Life deals to you, Despite the opinions, Of just a few, No matter what anger, Inside you once grew, Throughout all the hardships, You once knew, There is one thing, You must always keep in view: It is better to have loved and lost, Then never to have loved at all. Your life may seem hopeless, But at least you’re fortunate enough to have one. Everyone else is so imperfect, But so are you. You may see and hear shit you don’t like, But, hell, you can see and hear. Knowing what you do may seem intolerable, But it is far less painful than ignorance. And just like there’s always someone out there, Better at something than you, There’s also someone out there, Who’s worse off. So, in a nutshell: Always remember that no matter what shit happens to you, No matter how bad life may seem at the time, It could always be worse, So consider yourself fortunate that it’s not.
