Sunday Evening

by Heather Williams - Libra

We walked in the doors together
Looking so different
But feeling so much the same
We took a right and lingered over to the cards
I was distracted by the words in the cards
All of a sudden you placed your hand
In my back pocket
We walked around killing time
If I would stop to look
You'd put your hands on my shoulders
Or hold my hand
Sitting in the car
You placed your head on my lap
Happy that I was so warm
When it was so cold last night
Kissed my stomach as I ran my fingers through your hair
I went home so emotionally satisfied
Realzing it was the nicest
Sunday evening I've ever had
