Walk With Me

Although my heart be sad and weary,
and the road I take be steep and long,
I know that with you beside me,
I can, I can, I can carry on.
For there is no journey taken through life,
That should be made by one on their own.
Be it travelled with soulmate, lover, or friend,
Let the  journey show, how true love is grown.
There will be times when the road is winding,
And the way forward never seems clear,
But with a loving hand upon a heart,
Life's journey will hold no  fear.
So,...Walk with me ....By my side ....
Be my equal .... And do not hide ....
Fears for me ....That may override ....
Love for me .... In your heart ....
Abide.
